You've all been asking for it and now you have it! Join us for a totally unique, two-week residency workshop to launch your career to the next level! This is an extraordinary opportunity to study with world-renowned "teacher of teachers," Diane Jarmolow, who wrote the book on DVIDA certification and preparation. Developed over 20 years' experience training dance instructors, this condensed course will present a solid system for understanding everything you need to know to pass the DVIDA Professional International Style Standard Associate Exam. The experience guarantees full immersion, focus and achievement. It will cover the elements, theory, dancing, teaching methodology, and how to present them in an exam. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers and aspiring professionals to build expertise, credentials, and distinguish themselves in the ballroom dance industry.
Includes:
70 hours of instruction (35 per week)
Monday through Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm, Break from 5 pm - 6 pm
Who: For highly committed, focused, existing or aspiring professionals who want to become certified. Enrollment is limited to 10 students to guarantee a high quality experience.
Prerequisite: Ability to dance Leader's and Follower's parts of DVIDA International Style Bronze Figures in Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep

13 nights' Accommodation: BDTC has reserved a number of single and double rooms at the Best Western Chateau Granville, Vancouver, B.C. Canada (from Sun, Sept 9 - Sat., Sept 22, 2007) at a discounted rate which includes free access to the gym. It is located at 1100 Granville St. just one block south of Rhodes Career College. Please call the hotel directly at 800-663-0575 or 664-669-7070 to book your accommodation. Be sure to mention the "BDTC Group" and specify which dates you would like to stay in order to secure the group discount. Reservations must be made no later than June 29, 2007 however, it is advised to book as early as possible. Please note, per hotel policy, any cancellation or reductions within 69-45 days prior to arrival will result in one night charge. If cancelled within 44-30 days, two nights will be charged, within 29-14 days will result in 3 night charge, and within 13-7 days 4 night charge, and within 6 days will be 5 night charge including no show and early check out.
